What we are doing
High Speed Two (HS2) is the high speed railway for Britain. Balfour Beatty Vinci (BBV) is working in partnership HS2 Ltd to build the new railway in your area.
As we continue to progress the works in Cubbington area, we will need to close a section of PRoW W137, to ensure users safety. The closure will be in place from 29 June to 26 July 2026 with no diversion. Temporary diversion will be in place from 26 July 2026 until 31 March 2027
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
