Notice of replacement of hoarding graphics on Park Village East

What we are doing

We need to replace the hoarding graphics at the southern end of Park Village East, as this has been damaged by the weather over time. The artwork displayed on the hoarding will remain the same.

From Monday 20 July, we’ll begin replacing the hoarding in sections starting from Mornington Street bridge. We’ll work our way down Park Village East to our site gate on Stanhope Street. These works will require temporary footpath closures and intermittent parking bay suspensions.

Please note that we’ll need to suspend parking bays from the Sunday before each week to avoid any delays to works starting. We’ll create a temporary pedestrian diversion around the footpath closures to maintain access while works are ongoing.

We’ll work during core hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm and some Saturday day shifts, from 8am to 6pm to ensure works are completed on time. We expect these works to take around four weeks to complete, which should be by Saturday 15 August 2026. We do not expect there to be any noise impacts while these works are being carried out.

The hoarding will remain in place until the completion of HS2 works in this area.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
