We will be closing B4453 Rugby Road from Tuesday 1 September to Monday 28 September. The road closure will be in place 24/7, including weekends.
What we are doing
As we approach the completion of the permanent road realignment, we will be connecting the existing road onto the new bridge. Additional works are planned at a later stage to complete any final surfacing works.
What to expect
There will be a fully signed diversion in place to help drivers navigate their way.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
