Location
Welsh Road, near Southam.
Duration
On Tuesday 2 June and Wednesday 3 June 2026 there will be a road closure in place on Welsh Road between 9:30am – 3:30pm.
What we are doing
The work will involve various landscaping activities. This will also include maintenance work to the existing verges.
What to expect
Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained but may be limited at times. There will be a fully signed posted diversion route in place.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
