We have previously informed you that there will be a road closure with overnight traffic light in place from Monday 3 August to 7 August 2026.
We now only need the closure on Wednesday 5 August 2026, from 8am to 6pm, the closure will be in place with a signed diversion.
What we are doing
We will be constructing an access and conducting surveys near our working area.
What to expect
Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained but may be limited at times. There will be a fully signed posted diversion route in place.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
