What we are doing
A road closure will be in place to support permanent boundary fencing and topsoil instillation.
Location
School End, Chetwode also known as Stratton Audley Road.
Duration
Thursday 8 October to Thursday 29 October 2026. 9am to 5pm.
What to expect
- Day time closures from 9am to 5pm.
- Access will be provided to residents within the closure.
- School buses will be permitted to pass through.
There may be a short wait in both cases whilst we make the working area safe.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
