Duration
Phase one: There will be temporary two-way traffic lights from Saturday 17 October until Monday 26 October 2026.
Phase two: From Monday 26 October until Friday 20 November there will be a road closure in place, operating 24/7.
What we are doing
We will be creating a new farm access ahead of installing drainage works. Works will also include a number of utility diversions.
What to expect
You will see increased levels of construction activity. There will be a signed diversion route in place. There will be access for cyclists during phase one works.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
