A445 Leicester Lane, Cubbington

Duration
We previously notified you of the closure to Leicester Lane in Phase two: Monday 15 June to Sunday 12 July. We now need to extend this closure to Sunday 19 July. Phase three: Monday 20 July to Sunday 26 July 7pm – 7am road closure with daytime temporary traffic lights and at the weekend

What we are doing
We will be replacing the culvert across the carriageway and connecting multiple utilities ready for the new road realignment.

What to expect
You will see increased levels of construction activity and overnight work during phase two. There will be a signed diversion route in place.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
