What we are doing
We are laying concrete at the site entrance on Mandeville Road, as part of our ongoing work on the sewage pipes from 5 May to 11 September 2026. Please follow this link for details.
We wrote to you recently about extended working hours on Saturday 30 May 2026 from 8am to 5pm, to pour concrete at the site entrance on Mandeville Road. This work was not completed on 30 May. Further work is required on Saturday 6 June 2026. We will work from 8am to 5pm. This work needs to be done on Saturday in order to allow time for the concrete to dry on Sunday.
These works will not affect Mandeville Road or the pedestrian pathway.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
