What we are doing
We will be closing alternate single lanes on Faraday Avenue to undertake remedial works to allow the streetlights to be connected that are currently not in use.
One single lane on alternate sides of Faraday Avenue will be closed at any time, and the road will remain open in both directions.
These works will take place during the day and there will be only one lane closed at any time.
What to expect
Some low-level noise will be generated during working hours.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
