What we are doing
To facilitate the paving works at the Balfour Beatty compound (TX28) we need to implement temporary 3-way traffic lights to enable the work to be completed.
The paving work is required to enable safe access and egress for construction vehicles into the compound on the A51, Great Haywood Road Staffordshire (W3W:reading.blaken.trimmer)
The temporary traffic management will be for the health and safety of road users and the Balfour Beatty workforce.
We will be installing temporary 3-way traffic lights on the A51, Great Haywood Road, Staffordshire.
Date: Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 October 2026
Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
