What we are doing

Location
A452 newly built roundabout over the trace (connecting onto the A446 northbound and A452 southbound carriageways) including adjacent roads.

Duration
Off-peak lane closures:
Each day between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday 8 June until Tuesday 16 June 2026.

What we are doing
Lane closures will be in place to allow our workforce to carry out essential landscaping activities during off-peak daytime hours only. The remaining lanes will stay open and fully operational, ensuring traffic continues to flow as normal.

What to expect
Low-level noise from our works site.

Lane closures are in place during off-peak hours.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
