We recently shared the dates for upcoming road closures on the A452. We now need to cancel the closure that was planned for Friday 26 June to Monday 29 June 2026. The closure dates are:
From 6am Saturday 20 June to 6am Monday 22 June 2026
From 10pm Friday 3 July to 6am Monday 6 July 2026.
What we are doing
We are preparing to install a contraflow on the new southbound carriageway of the A452, starting Monday 6 July. During the weekend closures we will be completing road tie-ins to move the traffic onto the realigned road and installing street lighting.
What to expect
A fully signposted diversion route will be in place. Vehicles travelling to the Lincoln Farm Truck Stop, residents of Marsh Lane, Mercote
Mill Farm and Marsh Farm “The Nook” will be escorted through the closure from Bradnock’s Marsh.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
