What we are doing
We will be installing temporary traffic lights on Waste Lane so that we can complete the Pegasus crossing and carry out any associated works on the pavement between Waste Lane overbridge and Dragon Flies. The temporary traffic lights are required so that we can complete our work safely and will be removed as soon as we are able to do so.
What to expect
Motorists may experience some disruption to travel times. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout the period of work.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
