On both weekends we will close the road at 10pm on Friday night and reopen the road at 6am on Monday morning.
What we are doing
Following the installation of the contraflow on the new southbound carriageway of the A452, we need to close the road to progress our works. We will be installing streetlights and signage, clearing vegetation and undertaking surveys between Bradnock’s Marsh and Meriden roundabout.
What to expect
A fully signposted diversion route will be in place. Vehicles travelling to the Lincoln Farm Truck Stop; residents of Marsh Lane; Mercote Mill Farm and Marsh Farm “The Nook” will be escorted through the closure from Bradnock’s Marsh and Meriden roundabouts.
We will reopen the road as soon as it is safe to do so.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
