What we are doing

We will be working in the carriageway undertaking white line marking. This requires temporary traffic lights to work safely. On occasion, we will need to hold traffic for up to 15 minutes to complete these works.

Location
Wormleighton Road, between the village and the Banbury Road bridge.

Duration
Thursday 5 November, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What to expect

• One day of traffic lights to complete works at the roadside under a lane closure.
• Workforce in and near the road.
• 15-minute traffic stop, whilst we work across the carriageway.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
