What we are doing
We are currently working to redirect utilities in the area to facilitate the construction of the new overbridge.

A422, Westbury.

Friday 8:00pm to Monday 5:30am

Traffic management
Temporary traffic lights will alternate between east-west of the bridge from:
- 15 June to 01 August 2026
What to expect
- Weekend road closures and lane closures with traffic management in place.
We will aim to remove traffic management when safe to do so. When traffic management is in place please allow extra journey time and expect delays.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
