What we are doing
Under a single lane closure overnight, we will be working in the roadside verges as we prepare for the new road alignment work.

- Northbound or southbound lane closures will change as work progresses.
- These works are subject to local authority consents and approvals.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026.
