UPDATED- The traffic management has been extended and is due to be lifted on Monday 16 March 2027. Our working hours will be from 8am to 6pm each weekday and 8am to 2pm on Saturday. The traffic management will be in place during these working hours.
What we are doing
Trimming of the embankment and topsoiling the highways embankment including, the construction and connection of the drainage and ditches. The extension
of the traffic management allows us to complete the full ditch extension.
What to expect
The traffic management will be controlled by two-way traffic lights. In this respect, minimal traffic delays are expected.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
