Duration
Monday 13 April to Friday 24 April 2026. The works are being carried out between 07:30am and 5:30pm each weekday and between 07:30am and 1:30pm on Saturday. During these hours traffic will be controlled by Stop/Go control.
What we are doing
Inspection of manholes and associated utility-related works.
What to expect
Traffic management will be in place during the works to enable the manholes to be inspected. The traffic management will be controlled by two-way traffic lights. In this respect, minimal traffic delays are expected.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
