Traffic management will be in place each day from 7am to 6pm on Thursday 24 September to Saturday 31 October 2026.
What we are doing
Traffic management will be in place using stop-and-go boards and two-way lights to safely guide vehicles through the works area while the team undertakes utility connections across the road as part of the Gilson Drive realignment scheme.
What to expect
• Access to residents will be maintained throughout the works
• Low level of noise from our machinery
• Pedestrian and cycle access maintained throughout
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
