What we are doing
We will be creating a plant crossing on Stoneleigh Road. This crossing will allow us to safely move our construction plant across the road as we undertake various works in the area.
- From 15 November 2021 to 17 December 2021, we will be installing temporary traffic lights on Stoneleigh Road
- We will be closing Stareton Lane from the 29 November 2021 through to 17 December 2021 for 24-hours seven days a week
- Please note that access will be maintained to all premises on Stareton Lane while the works take place
- A fully signed diversion will be in place
- These works will be suspended over the festive season
From 17 January 2022 to 20 February 2022, we will carry on the works to complete the crossing by installing temporary traffic lights on Stoneleigh Road.
On completion of the plant crossing, the lights will remain green and will only turn to red when site vehicles are required to cross the road. To further reduce disruption, these lights will be manned during busier periods of the day.
Please note that these works are subject to weather conditions.
