What we are doing
Constructing a new footpath and cycleway for the Risborough Road underpass. Narrowing a section of the old road and completing associated utility diversions, drainage installation and surface reinstatement.
Location
Risborough Road (formerly the A4010), Old Risborough Road.
Duration
24 days, Monday 2 November to Wednesday 25 November, inclusive of weekends
What to expect
- 24-hour traffic lights at Risborough Road and Old Risborough Road. Marshalled access with up to 15-minute holds on traffic and extended working hours to 10pm between 23 and 25 November.
- Extended working hours until 5pm on Saturdays 7, 14 and 21 November.
Layby Farm Business Park and The Bucks Goat Centre will be open as normal.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
