What we are doing
Due to programme changes, the dates for these works have changed. Works on College Crescent are now completed. Section of the Alexandra Road will remain closed until 14 June due to additional work is required for our South Hampstead gas main
diversion. For details, please follow this link.
Phase two of the works, on Finchley Road and Hilgrove Road, was due to start on 17 April. This phase of works will now start on Monday 20 April. There will be lane closures on Hilgrove Road and Finchley Road, with temporary traffic lights in place.
We hold 20-minute virtual one-to-one sessions every second Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. This is an opportunity to talk to us about these works. You can book online at hs2.org.uk/events. The sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
