What we are doing
High Speed Two (HS2) is the high-speed railway for Britain. Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is working in partnership HS2 Ltd to build the new railway in your area.
As we progress construction of the HS2 railway in this area, we will need to close a section of PRoW W164 and PRoW W165x, temporary diversion will be installed. These closures and diversions will be in place from 17 July 2026 until 30 November 2026.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
