UPDATE: Works were delayed due to the recent temporary standdown of all works on BBV sites. (All sites are now fully operational).
Works are currently ongoing and will now be completed on Saturday 8 August 2026. Our working hours are from 8am to 6pm each
weekday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday.
What we are doing
Demolition of temporary cabins, storage and welfare building, along with the breaking and removal of concrete slabs.
What to expect
• Acoustic barriers will be installed prior to the concrete breaking to mitigate against the impact of noise.
• Noise from our plant and machinery.
• Concrete breaking in relation to these works will be limited to one hour per day, on weekdays only.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
