Update: The duration for completing these works is being extended from Friday 6 June to Saturday 20 June 2026.
Our working hours will be from 8am to 6pm each weekday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday
What we are doing
Demolition of temporary cabins, storage and welfare building, along with the breaking and removal of concrete slabs.
What to expect
• Noise from our plant and machinery
• On-site mitigation
• Our workforce may be on-site up to one hour before and after to set up and secure our equipment
• Concrete breaking in relation to these works will be limited to one hour per working day.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
