Old Oak Common Concrete Works

What we are doing

Concrete works in the underground High Speed Station Box of Old Oak Common are continuing following the completion of excavation back in June 2024. Concrete pours are taking place on-site, with some pre-cast elements being delivered. This is to construct the walls, platforms, cores, and other elements of the future HS2 station and of the public realm. This will take place until July 2026.

Other concrete works include works on the Conventional Station notified in the AWN: Update on Old Oak Common Conventional Station Works (ref: HS2-OOC – SCP-26-1734) Oversized deliveries of pre-cast concrete elements will occasionally arrive in the early mornings before 8am onto site in order to limit impacts on local traffic. We will monitor and mitigate noise and dust coming from the concrete works.
