Old Oak Common: Haul road works

What we are doing

We are building a new site road in the middle of the Old Oak Common Station site to better accommodate the movement of vehicles and handover sections of site to our delivery partners.

The works will involve breaking out the concrete base from an existing road and then building a new road along the conventional station track area. Works will take place entirely within the Old Oak Common Station site, next to the Great Western Mainline, in what will be the future conventional station.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
