Old Oak Common Lane (between the HS2 site entrance and railway bridges)
Duration
• Road closure hours: Saturday 13 June 6am to Sunday 14 June 10pm
• Saturday 20 June 6am to Sunday 21 June 10pm (contingency 27–28 June)
• Working hours: 8am-5pm
What we are doing
We are reopening the footpath on the eastern (station site) side of Old Oak Common Lane. This is ahead of the footpath closure on the western side for works on the Wells House Road stairs and adjoining bridge.
What to expect
We will be dismantling our hoarding and moving the blocks onto our site using an excavator. We will be carrying out additional
preparatory work on the Wells House Road stairs on the opposite side of the road. There will be road closures on Old Oak Common Lane.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
