Old Oak Common overnight concrete works

What we are doing

We are continuing the concrete works for the conventional station platforms, with works along the live railway.

We will be working overnight from Sunday to Friday, between 10pm to 6am. A schedule of upcoming nighttime works can be found in the document below.

What to expect
We have to carry out these works overnight, when trains are not running. We will complete our activity as quickly as possible to reduce disruption. We will use equipment and methods which help to reduce noise. We will engage directly with residents impacted by these works. The works are described in more detail in the document below.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
