Haul Road Works: 6 June – December 2026 (Saturdays and Sundays, 8am to 6pm)
Piling works: Wednesday 3 June – Friday 5 June (7am to 7pm)
Tent removal: Saturday 6 June – Sunday 7 June (8am to 6pm)
What we are doing
A series of works at the station. Some of these works will need to run outside normal working hours to enable the next phase of construction.
What to expect
Haul Road: Construction of a new site road by excavating the ground, installing drainage, and pouring concrete. Piling related works: Removal of sheet piles. Tent removal: Removing a temporary equipment storage area .
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
