What we are doing
We are continuing with our work to support the construction of railway bridges near the Central Line, around 90 metres south from the rear of properties on Wells House Road.
As part of the construction on the new bridge, we need to install temporary wall to support the pouring of the concrete. For safety, the work needs to be completed overnight when the Central Line is not operating. The work will involve some drilling and fixing, and some machinery operating to lift in the temporary wall. We don’t anticipate the work to be disruptive.
Working times
- Sunday 13 September – Friday 18 September: Install temporary works, pour concrete
- Sunday 20 September – Friday 25 September: Install temporary works, pour concrete
All working hours are Sunday to Thursday within 10pm – 6am
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
