What we are doing
Road closure, Crackley Lane Kenilworth.
Crackley Lane, Kenilworth will be closed between 2 November and 19 November, during this time we will be carrying out work to construct a plant crossing. This will involve a section of the old road being replaced with a reinforced concrete slab to take the weight of heavy machinery crossing the lane. Access to all properties will be maintained at all times. To carry out this work safely the road will be fully closed during this period for motor vehicles, but pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure. There will be a fully signed diversion in place.
From 22 November 2021 until February 2022 the plant crossing will be opperational. BBV will install temporary traffic lights at this location, these lights will help heavy plant to cross the road safely. The lights will be opperational Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and only turn red when plant needs to cross Crackley Lane.
