Weeknight closures:
Each weeknight between 8pm and 6am from Tuesday 7 April until Saturday 11 April 2026
Each weeknight between 8pm and 6am from Monday 27 April until Saturday 2 May 2026
What we are doing
Overnight traffic management will be in place during weeknights only, to allow our workforce to safely carry out essential north abutment and drainage activities.
What to expect
A fully signed diversion route will be in place during each overnight closure.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
