The road will be closed between 9pm and 6am from Monday 28 September 2026 to Sunday 4 October 2026.
*The last overnight closure will take place on Saturday 3 October 2026 meaning the road will be open at 6am on Sunday 4 October 2026.
What we are doing
To safely continue the structure works in the area, the team need to close the link road to carry out parapet installations.

Low level of noise from our work.
A fully signed diversion route in place during each closure.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
