Between the hours of 9pm and 6am on Monday 13 July 2026 to Saturday 18 July 2026. The last night closure is Saturday 18 July 2026.

*Contingency dates if required are Monday 20 July 2026 to Wednesday 22 July 2026

What we are doing
As part of the ongoing work in the area, the team will need to close the link road to enable the installation of the new beams for the M6 north viaduct.

What to expect
A fully signed diversion route in place during these works.

Low level noise from our works site.

These works are subject to consent.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
