What we are doing
Location
M42 between J6 and 7 in both directions including link roads – near Bickenhill
Duration
M42 northbound lanes 1 and 2, and the M42 J7 link to M6 northbound
Each weeknight from Monday 13 April until Saturday 18 April 2026 between 9pm and 5am
M42 southbound lanes 1 and 2, and the M6 J4 link to M42 southbound
Each weeknight from Monday 20 April until Saturday 25 April 2026 between 9pm and 5am
M42 J7 link to M6 northbound
Each weeknight from Monday 20 April until Saturday 2 May 2026 between 9pm and 5am
M42 northbound and southbound lanes 1 and 2, along with the M42 J7 link to the M6 northbound and the M6 J4 link to the M42 southbound
Each weeknight from Monday 27 April until Saturday 2 May 2026 between 9pm and 5am

Low level noise from our works.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026.
