What we are doing
We will be removing the temporary construction bellmouth and resurfacing the road where the Colne Valley Viaduct crosses Moorhall Road.
Location
Moorhall Road, Harefield, Hillingdon.
Duration
Phase 1 contraflow system will be in place from 29 June to 27 July.
Phase 2 overnight road closure will take place from 27 July to 31 July from 10pm to 5am every night.
What to expect
Temporary traffic signs, cones and barriers will be in place to guide you safely around the work zones for the safety of both drivers and our workforce. While these schedules are designed to avoid peak commuting hours, we recommend allowing extra time for your journeys and watching out for temporary changes.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
