What we are doing
We run the electricity network delivering power in your area and this month we are due to start some digging work in your area, which should not impact your electricity supply.
Our contractor Clancy Docwra Limited will be hand digging trial holes to check the location of underground cables, and carrying out associated works for the HS2 Project.
Work is due to start on April 19, on Network Rail’s land to the East of the Railway tracks and Victoria Road and to the South between the Railway Tracks and the back end of the houses on Well’s Road, and will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. We expect to complete all the works by the end of May.
We will continue to follow government and Public Health England advice to keep our employees, contractors and customers safe and our work will be carried out in line with the latest Covid-19 health and safety guidance.
