What we are doing
Helmdon Road and footpath AN13, near Greatworth were closed in Autumn 2023 to allow us to complete the construction of the Greatworth green tunnel.

Helmdon Road, Greatworth and footpath AN13.
Duration
From Autumn 2023 until completion of the Greatworth green tunnel, which is expected to be Autumn 2028.

What to expect
Closure of Helmdon Road and footpath AN13.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026.
