What we are doing
We’re continuing works in Old Oak and North Acton.
You may notice some noise. We’ll be using the following measures to reduce disruption:
Monitor noise and vibration
Suppress dust when needed
Install noise barriers where possible
Carry out noisier activities during core working hours
Direct lighting downwards and use covers where possible to reduce glare
Brief our workforce on ways to reduce disruption for local communities
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
