Update: Old Oak Common concrete works continue

What we are doing

We are building the conventional station and station control area building concrete structures.

Old Oak Common station site , conventional station and station control area building .

Duration
July 2026 – July 2027
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday 8am – 6pm.
Weekdays: 8am – 6pm
Occasional weekdays and weekends : 6am – 8am, and 6pm –10pm

What to expect

• Concrete works on weekends
• Regular cement deliveries via Old Oak Common Lane.
• Lifting activities with large cranes.
• Works will occasionally start early mornings and finish late evenings.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area
