What we are doing
We notified recently that Alexandra Road would reopen on 18 April 2026. However, additional work is required until 14 June 2026 as part of our South Hampstead gas main diversion.
We will reopen the section of the road from the junction of Loudoun Road, as far as 15-17 Alexandra Road, on 26 April 2026.
Until 14 June 2026 we will be working within the grass area in front of the sports ground on Alexandra Road. This section of the road will remain closed. The footpath in front of the grass area will be closed, with pedestrians diverted to the other side of the road. The electric charging bays will not be affected.
