What we are doing
We recently notified you that the section of Alexandra Road from the junction of Loudoun Road, as far as 15-17 Alexandra Road, would reopen on 26 April 2026. Some minor engineering works are still required before we tarmac the area, and we now anticipate that this section of the road will reopen on 28 April 2026. We apologise for the delay.
Until 14 June 2026 we will be working within the grass area in front of the sports ground on Alexandra Road. This section of the road will remain closed. The footpath in front of the grass area will be closed, with pedestrians diverted to the other side of the road. The electric charging bays will not be affected.
