What we are doing
As we continue to progress the works in this area, we will need to extend the closure of PRoW W29y with temporary diversion, to ensure users safety. The closure will be in place from 22 July 2024 until 31 October 2026.
Pedestrians will be able to safely navigate through the area by using the clearly signposted diversion as illustrated in the map below.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
