Duration
We previously informed you of construction works to install a new bellmouth access along the B4455 Fosse Way. A road closure will be in place on Saturday 29 August, between 7:00am and 6:00pm, along B4455 Fosse Way, A425 and Long Itchington Road.
On Sunday 30 August, a closure between Welsh Road and Long Itchington roundabouts will be in place between 7.00am- 10.00pm.
What we are doing
Construction of a new bellmouth, installing new street lighting, undertaking highway resurfacing and conducting maintenance installation.

Please allow extra time for your journeys and follow the signed diversion route.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
