They will hold a valid CPCS/NPORS Excavator ticket and be confident operating excavators of various sizes. The candidate should have good knowledge of excavation techniques, trenching, grading, and lifting operations, as well as the ability to read site plans and work to specification. A proactive attitude toward health, safety, and environmental standards is essential, along with strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively alongside site supervisors and other operatives.
