HS2 Recruitment Hubs
HS2 is working with The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) & The National Careers Service to capitalise on continuing employment opportunities generated by the high-speed railway which is being built between the West Midlands and London. We are working to bring HS2 opportunities closer to communities in the West Midlands via a dedicated HS2 Recruitment Hub approach.
Given the scale of opportunity, the main HS2 Recruitment Hub is co-located within the Washwood Heath Job Centre – close to a key site where the HS2 depot will be located – with mobile pop-up hubs taken out into the wider community. The Hubs are used to advertise jobs and training opportunities on the HS2 project and provide prospective candidates with the opportunity to meet face to face with recruiters.
