Update: Notice of vegetation clearance and traffic lights on Wood End Lane, Lichfield.

What we are doing

HS2 Ltd is proposing to make changes to the junction of the A515 and Wood End Lane, with further widening to Wood End Lane.

This is to improve traffic flows during the construction of HS2.

To complete the highway improvements, we will need to remove some vegetation along Wood End Lane and at the junction with the A515.

To safely complete the clearance, we will have up to fifteen days of rolling lane closures which will include;
• lane closures and temporary 3-way traffic lights at the junction with the A515 and Wood End Lane and
• lane closures with two-way traffic lights on Wood End Lane between A515 and Watery Lane and the A515

To remove larger trees safely there will be a 15-minute temporary road closure on Wood End Lane (at the entrance to Baskerville House); the closure will be in place for 15 minutes in each hour until the vegetation clearance is completed.
